2025 Back-to-School Bash Recap: Doubling the Impact for Local Teachers

As summer winds down and school doors open, we’re reflecting on one of our favorite traditions—our Annual Back-to-School Bash—and this year was extra special. What started as a way to support Jackson County teachers in 2023 has grown into a powerful, two-county initiative benefiting educators across Western North Carolina.

In August 2025, we proudly wrapped up our second annual giveaway in Jackson County—doubling the total prize money thanks to the generosity of our sponsors—and hosted our first-ever Back-to-School Bash for Macon County teachers. The results? More schools supported, more educators recognized, and more smiles to kick off the school year.

Supporting Jackson County Public Schools

With 9 public schools across Sylva, Cullowhee, Dillsboro, and Whittier, Jackson County educators continue to inspire us with their dedication and heart. For the second year in a row, we partnered with generous local businesses to give back in a meaningful way.

• 9 winners received $100 Amazon gift cards — one for each school

• 32 additional teachers and support staff won $50 Amazon gift cards

Expanding to Macon County Schools

For the first time, we extended the Back-to-School Bash to Macon County, including Franklin, Otto, and surrounding communities. The response was overwhelming—and heartwarming.
